Playfully referring to herself as a Muse and Renaissance Woman, Shari constantly
surrounds herself with a forest of artistry. From a young age, her family
encouraged exploration in the arts because of her natural creativity and thirst
for expression, and she blossomed under their influences. In her portfolio,
she carries a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Graphic Design from St.
Xavier University in Chicago and a Master of Music Performance on clarinet
from Northern Illinois
University in DeKalb.
A true Bohemian spirit courses through her veins; she uses every artistic
fiber available to her being and only hopes to be blessed enough to continue
along this amazing journey. Music lives in her heart and has made friends
with her ventures into photography, chalk drawing, poetry and theater. Shari
freelances her graphic design work, gigs and records as much as possible.
Shari performs with the 85th
Army Band, a new group: thesix, and has performed with such groups as
Slinky Styles,
the DeKalb
Municipal Band and subs for the Chicago
Outskirts.
Shari has a unique gift to offer.
Because of her versatility, she brings a full package to the party tied with
many different genres, experiences, visions, a solid work ethic and a kind
spirit.
The journey has only begun, yet
there are so many mentors and teachers that have helped nurture Shari that
she would like to thank them with all of her heart, specifically:
